Recording and Specialising in Foley for over 11 years. Julien had the privilege to train with legendary Rerecording Mixer Paul Carr. He went on to lead the Foley department at Goldcrest Post Production before establishing The Foley Barn in 2016. Now with a 135+ credits on multi award winning British and International projects, Julien’s Perfectionism and love of Foley leaves his attention to detail unmatched.

Gareth’s work ethic is unmatched which is clearly demonstrated by an exceptional 35 year career in Film and TV. Having succeed in everything he put his craft to. His experience on set and directing brings a creative eye and mind for story that elevates him above the rest. Having worked as a Foley Artist for 20+ years Gareth has worked on some of the biggest TV projects around.

Discovering a love of sound and Foley at the University of Norfolk Raph’s University projects have gone on to win awards at both BAFTA and Royal Television Society East. Raph is a key part of our team, keeping us sharp with our weekly riddles and excelling in creative ideas.

Paul Iché

With multiple degrees from Montpellier, Lycée de l’Image et du Son in Angoulême, Manchester and a Masters from IUP SATIS in Aubagne. Paul brings an incredibly sharp mind to the team and and even sharper wit. A keen analogue photographer and even builds his own guitar pedals. Paul can fix anything and brings a keen eye for detail to the team.

Operations Manager
Helen is the wheel that keeps The Foley Barn succeeding. Her sunny disposition, strong work ethic and championing of mental Health in the company. Helen keeps the team and studio able to focus on the creative sound we love to record.
